Dr. Anna Kim is a post­doc­tor­al fel­low with the Mis­souri Pre­ven­tion Sci­ence Insti­tute (MPSI). Pri­or to this, Anna holds a Mas­ter’s and Doc­tor­ate in Social Work at the Uni­ver­si­ty of Mis­souri, com­ple­ment­ed by an MPA from Fudan Uni­ver­si­ty in Shang­hai, China.

Cur­rent­ly, Anna is focus­ing on school-based inter­ven­tions for chil­dren with social, emo­tion­al, and behav­ioral health con­cerns. In addi­tion, Anna’s spe­cif­ic inter­est lies in dis­rup­tive behav­iors among chil­dren in class­rooms, aim­ing to under­stand and address chal­lenges to pro­mote pos­i­tive devel­op­ment. Anna’s exper­tise extends to the eval­u­a­tion of school-based inter­ven­tions, uti­liz­ing a dis­tri­b­u­tion­al approach, par­tic­u­lar­ly through the appli­ca­tion of Gen­er­al­ized Addi­tive Mod­els for Loca­tion, Scale, and Shape (GAMLSS). Anna is also in the process of spe­cial­iz­ing in meta-analy­sis meth­ods to dis­cern the most effec­tive school-based inter­ven­tions for chil­dren exhibit­ing dis­rup­tive behaviors.
