Dr. Anna Kim is a postdoctoral fellow with the Missouri Prevention Science Institute (MPSI). Prior to this, Anna holds a Master’s and Doctorate in Social Work at the University of Missouri, complemented by an MPA from Fudan University in Shanghai, China.

Currently, Anna is focusing on school-based interventions for children with social, emotional, and behavioral health concerns. In addition, Anna’s specific interest lies in disruptive behaviors among children in classrooms, aiming to understand and address challenges to promote positive development. Anna’s expertise extends to the evaluation of school-based interventions, utilizing a distributional approach, particularly through the application of Generalized Additive Models for Location, Scale, and Shape (GAMLSS). Anna is also in the process of specializing in meta-analysis methods to discern the most effective school-based interventions for children exhibiting disruptive behaviors.
