Dr. Andy Frey com­plet­ed his Ph.D. in Social Work at the Uni­ver­si­ty of Den­ver and is cur­rent­ly at Pro­fes­sor in the School of Social Work at the Uni­ver­si­ty of Mis­souri. Pri­or to com­ing to MU in 2022, he was the Direc­tor of the Ph.D. pro­gram at the Uni­ver­si­ty of Louisville and the men­tal health con­sul­tant of the Jef­fer­son Coun­ty Pub­lic Schools (Louisville, KY) ear­ly child­hood pro­gram. He has also worked as a school social work­er and behav­ioral coach. His research focus­es on the pro­vi­sion of school-based men­tal health ser­vices and the effec­tive­ness of pro­mo­tion, pre­ven­tion, and treat­ment strate­gies to fos­ter school suc­cess and remove bar­ri­ers to learn­ing with­in an inter­dis­ci­pli­nary context.
